Veteran Assurance Network is taking steps to prevent veterans from committing suicide. We held “Rally Against Suicide” the past two years in Cleveland with cooperation with the Cleveland Cavaliers and are hoping to expand to other cities across the country. Our founder Tim Hauser advocated for a Veteran Suicide Awareness and Prevention Day in Ohio where Governor Mike DeWine signed into law on July 24, 2024. He is advocating for this day to be recognized nationally, working with many Senators and Congressmen to get this done. We give PowerPoint presentations educating those around veterans on warning signs and services available to prevent their veteran from committing suicide.
If you would like to volunteer to hold a rally in your city or would like Veterans Assurance Network to give their PowerPoint presentation on suicide prevention to your group or organization, please contact us at [email protected]
